How to prepare your facility for a HACCP audit — a Pest Control checklist

A HACCP audit doesn’t have to be stressful. We’ve gathered the key pest-control points that auditors ask about most often.

Good preparation for an audit starts long before the auditor arrives. In the Pest Control area what matters most is complete, up-to-date documentation.

What to keep at hand

  • an up-to-date facility plan with the layout of stations and traps,
  • reports from the most recent treatments and reviews,
  • safety data sheets for the products used,
  • the intervention history and post-audit recommendations.

The auditor’s most common questions

Auditors usually check whether monitoring is carried out regularly, whether stations are labelled and marked on the plan, and whether staff know how to report an intervention. If you use the CERBER system, you can show most of this information in moments.

Need support before an audit? Our internal HACCP management-system auditors will help you get the documentation in order.
