Public sector

Pest control for schools, hospitals, public offices and municipal buildings — with documentation for tender procedures and treatments carried out outside the institution's working hours.

Entrance of a public office building with Polish flags

In a public institution a treatment has to reconcile two things: effectiveness and the safety of the people who use the building — children, patients, visitors. That is why we work outside the institution's opening hours and choose methods so the site is ready for use the next day.

A public tender also assesses whether the contractor can document the work. We prepare the full set of documents required in the procedure — technician qualifications, management system certificates, a list of products used and report templates. Delivery follows the schedule set in the contract, and the records from every visit stay in the CERBER system.

Typical risks in this industry

  • Kitchens and canteens in institutions

Mass catering in a school, hospital or care home requires the same regime as a commercial kitchen, documentation included.

  • Basements and plant rooms

The extensive basements of public buildings are a typical route for rodents moving between wings of the site.

  • Birds on heritage buildings

Nesting on cornices and in lofts damages façades and calls for methods agreed with the conservation officer.

  • Green areas and playgrounds

Ticks, mosquitoes and wasp nests in the immediate surroundings require treatments planned when users are not present.

Questions

Questions from this industry

Can’t find your question here? Write to us — we answer the tricky ones too.

Do you deliver public contracts?

Yes. We take part in tender procedures and deliver contracts for local authorities and public institutions, with documentation and schedules matching the terms of the contract.

When do you treat a school or kindergarten?

Outside the institution's working hours — in the evening, at the weekend or during breaks in teaching. The date is agreed with the management so the site is ready for use before the children arrive.

What documents does the contracting authority receive?

A report from every visit, a list of the products used with their safety data sheets, the layout plan of control points and recommendations for the site.

Do you work on heritage buildings?

Yes. In listed buildings the methods — especially bird proofing — are agreed in advance with the site manager and the conservation officer.
