Outdoor spraying

Outdoor spraying to reduce populations of mosquitoes, ticks and blackflies — on green areas, around facilities, on properties and in leisure spots.

What outdoor spraying involves at your facility

Mosquitoes, ticks and blackflies can make a garden, a recreation area or the surroundings of a facility unusable. Outdoor spraying reduces their population in a given area, and its effectiveness depends on a good survey of the site and the timing.

We plan the treatment in advance and match its timing to the conditions. Before spraying we agree the safety rules — the area, the re-entry time and how to inform people using the site.

Methods we use

  • Mosquito and blackfly spraying

A treatment reducing the population of flying insects in the open area.

  • Tick control

Spraying of grassy and shrubby zones where ticks live.

  • Timing selection

We match the timing and scope to the conditions to increase effectiveness.

Where we work

  • Green areas and parks
  • Gardens and private properties
  • Holiday resorts and campsites
  • Surroundings of facilities and plants
  • Areas around schools and institutions
  • Sports and recreation facilities

How it works

Four steps from enquiry to ongoing monitoring

  1. 01

    Site survey

We assess the area, the insect zones and the conditions for the treatment.

  2. 02

    Offer and plan

We agree the scope, the timing and the safety rules for the spraying.

  3. 03

    Treatment

We carry out the spraying, observing re-entry times and marking the area.

  4. 04

    Recommendations

We provide recommendations and, if needed, a plan for a repeat treatment.

Questions

Before you call

Can’t find your question here? Write to us — we answer the tricky ones too.

How long is the area closed after spraying?

We state the required re-entry time before the area can be used again — it depends on the product and conditions. We record it and mark the area.

Is the spraying safe for pets?

During the treatment and re-entry time the area must be closed to use, including for animals. We provide the rules before spraying.

Is one treatment enough for the whole season?

It depends on insect pressure and the weather. A repeat treatment is often recommended — we set the plan individually.

When is the best time for spraying?

We match the timing to the conditions and the insects’ life cycle to increase effectiveness. We advise on choosing the date.

What area do you cover?

The whole of Poland, from our head office in Babice near Racibórz.
